Eli Glen

Today I had the privilige of capturing some perfect moments of one of the sweetest little boys around. Eli Ellis is the son of my LONG-time best friend, Alicia Ellis. He is 2 months younger than my baby boy, and Alicia & I both hope that they, too, will become great friends. I thought Carter owned all of my heart, but let me tell you I couldn't help but let Eli take a piece of it, too!!

I'm not sure why, but this is my favorite. Taken of that sweet, sweet spot that you can't help but kiss everytime you pick him up....his neck!

I thought this was just too cute....gotta love those toes!

So content....so precious!

Future best-friends....we hope ; )

sorry...

Just a note to let everyone know that I'm not accepting anymore "guinea pigs". I took the first five people who contacted me. I would love the opportunity to photograph everyone, but I just can't do it for free. Hopefully you all understand. I would like to say thank you to everyone...I was amazed by the number of people who are impressed with my photos! THANK YOU!!!!

Also, if for some reason in the future I need more volunteers, I will post it here first.

Finally!

After hours of "playing" I am finally making progress with my editing program. At first I would get so frustrated because I couldn't figure out how to do anything. Now, I'm starting to have tons of fun with my pictures. The possibilities are endless! Also, my camera has arrived. I can't wait to start taking new photos with it!

Here's one last picture of Carter....with a fun border!

Wanna be my "guinea pigs"?

One of my biggest goals for 2009 is to get my photography business up and running. I just purchased my first "professional" camera, so I am definitely on my way. Once it warms up, I need volunteers for photo sessions. The sessions will be free of charge since they will be learning experiences for me. If anyone is interested, please email me at Lalyn83@hotmail.com. Any type of photos will work....family, children, maternity & so on. I look forward to working with you all.

A special thanks to Julia & Laurie for all the love and support!!

ugghhhh!

Just thought I should post a new blog to let everyone know I'm still alive! I know it's been a while....I've been fighting off "photography brain-block" these past few weeks. I'm really enjoying taking photos, but without a good camera, I get easily discouraged. I'm ready to have a good quality camera, so I can start taking some good quality photos!!! So, a camera is definitely next on the list along with a backdrop...wrinkled sheets just aren't cutting it! I'm also still trying to figure out my new editing programs. There is so much that you can do! Hopefully the new year will bring about new cameras, new backdrops, and new ideas for new photos!! Don't give up on me yet!
